1795 S-77 R3 Plain Edge VG10. Glossy steel brown with slightly lighter brown toning covering the protected areas and darker steel toning on the highpoints. Smooth and attractive, void of any trace of corrosion or verdigris. There are a few tiny contact marks on the lower half of the obverse, including a dull rim nick left of the lowest curl, and a few light rim bruises on the reverse, the strongest of these above TE in STATES. MDS with swelling at STA that weakens those letters and causes some weakness at the opposing 1 in the date. Otherwise the date and legends are complete and easily readable.
