1795 S-76b R1 Plain Edge Fair-2. Double-Clipped Planchet. The obverse is better while the reverse is significantly weaker, nearly slick. The surfaces are decent but not perfect, nearly smooth. No verdigris, just a couple tiny rim bruises on both sides. The date and LIBERTY are easily readable. The planchet has two curved clips, as struck. A relatively large one touches the tip of the bust and a smaller one is located just right of the Y in LIBERTY. Pieces with a single clip are moderately rare while ones with two clips are extremely rare.
