Lot 234
1795 S-76b R1 Plain Edge VG10. Sharpness VF20 but covered with very fine granularity under the rather glossy chocolate and darker olive brown toning. No verdigris and the only mark is a thin rim nick over the B in LIBERTY. EDS, prior to any swelling in the obverse fields. The date is bold and the legends are complete, although there is some strike weakness at the bottom of the reverse.
