1794 S-31 R1 VG8. A few points sharper but covered with fine roughness from thousands of tiny nicks as if this cent was placed in a tumbler with other coins and left to spin for a while. None of the marks is notable, and there is no verdigris. The date and legends are complete and easily readable. Light olive brown and chocolate.
