Skylab III Flown Fire Extinguisher Hardware. This "Burst Disk Nut" is part of the Apollo - CM 117 fire extinguisher carried on the Skylab III mission. After the Apollo 1 fire NASA developed a fire extinguisher for use in zero G. These where then carried on all Apollo missions. Upon return the extinguishers were discharged to "evaluate the effects of flight". This disc comes with full documentation and a descriptive page notating its history and signed by the NASA Manager for Fire Extinguishers. Very few of the items related to Fire Extinguishers are available to collectors.
