1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition, Official Medal. SC$1 HK-399. PCGS graded EF-40. Silver. The Official Medal for the exposition. It was struck at the U.S. Mint Exhibit at the exposition. Obverse: Mercury opening Panama Canal locks as vessel, Argo, the symbol of navigation, passes. Signature of sculptor, Robert Aitken at lower right edge. Reverse: Two female figures representing two hemispheres Two females, representing the two hemispheres holding cornicopias. Conservatively graded.
