Obverse: Mercury opening Panama Canal locks as vessel, Argo, the symbol of navigation, passes. Signature of sculptor, Robert Aitken at lower right edge. Reverse: Two female figures representing two hemispheres Two females, representing the two hemispheres holding cornicopias. Conservatively graded.
