1805 C-1 R2 Small 5 with Stems EF40. Sharpness AU50 but there are a few small splashes of dark olive toning on both sides. A couple of these dark areas contain traces of extremely fine roughness, including one in the hair under R in LIBERTY and another above the 0 in the date. Otherwise the surfaces are excellent and the toning is an attractive frosty steel brown with reddish tan faded down from mint color in the protected areas. Sharply struck LDS, Manley state 2.0, with a clearly defined cud break in the dentils right of the fraction.
