1860-D. Medium D. PCGS graded AU-53. A pleasing untoned example of this very scarce issue. Luster beams from the devices and around the legends. Some minor strike weakness seen on the tip of the right wing as the viewer sees it, and neck feathers, and the top arrow feather, all of these being high points in the design. Only 185 examples are estimated to have survived. Pop 13; 62 finer (PCGS # 8286) .
