Lot 280
1804 C-12 R2 Crosslet 4 without Stems VF35. Clipped Planchet. Sharpness EF45 but lightly cleaned and nicely retoned glossy chocolate and steel brown. The only marks are some very tiny spots of dark greenish olive toning scattered over the reverse and faint hairlines near the rim left of the hair ribbon. M-LDS with die rust and radial flowlines in the obverse fields. A small, curved planchet clip affects the dentils above IBE and the opposing ones under the 2 in the fraction. Davy #04.12.10.
