Lot 2019

1889. PCGS graded MS-62 CAC Approved. Well struck and glistening with brilliant mint luster. Only 2,300 struck. The centers and fields are bright yellow-gold oscillating with pale reddish-gold accents. Far from the normal example of this issue is the respectable amount of detail throughout with no signs of weakness to the except, perhaps at the ribbon bow on the reverse, where detail generally lacks due to this being a high point in the design. Pop 56 (PCGS # 8011) .
Estimated Value $4,000 - 4,500.

Realized $4,945
