1923-S. NGC graded MS-65 Full Head. Light hints of gentle golden toning. A very choice example for this scarce date. In an old holder. We have sometimes fallen prey to scourges of hyperbole. However, in this instance, this '23-S is a genuine condition rarity that is on the odd occasion encountered in Superb Gem quality but even Gem 65s are becoming scarcer by the year. In the past two decades, we have only handled a few of this quality. Scintillating luster is accented by the toning. The frosty surfaces are virtually pristine Pop 22; 2 in 66 FH, 6 in 67 FH.
