Document Signed ("Rob Treat Paine") as Attorney General of Massachusetts, one page, 17¼ x 11 in., Northampton, Mass., Feb. 2, 1781. Confiscating the property of Thomas Beaman, a Loyalist, according to the Absentee Act. Treat. Fine condition; one small area under "Treat" of dark show-through from the docket. An attractive document.
