ASTP, 1975, "Bilingual Presentation Plaque" (professionally matted and framed to 21x18") This bilingual presentation certificate reads, in English (and, we assume the same in Russian) "Presented to Donald K. Slayton / With our sincere thanks and appreciation for your participation in the Apollo-Soyuz crew post-flight tour of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, September 20, 1975 - October 5, 1975". The piece is signed by Stafford, Brand, Slayton, Leonov and Kubasov. We assume that all five astronauts/cosmonauts received similar pieces of memorabilia, but, for all practical purposes, that would make each of these unique and highly desirable. A bilingual ASTP crew patch at the upper left jut makes the piece that much more attractive and desirable (we assume the patch was not flown, but, who knows). Striking.
