ASTP, 1975, "DKS" Personalized ASTP Crew Patch (5") This heavily embroidered A-B Emblem patch (sticker on reverse) was made specifically for Deke Slayton and has his initial clearly incorporated into the design, in gold, at the bottom of the patch. A limited number of patches were made for each American crew member, each with their initials. To our knowledge, only a few Slayton patches have come on the market. One, in 2003, realized about $1,200 in an Aurora Galleries sale. This patch is enclosed in its original plastic sleeve with A-B Emblem patch on the reverse. Extremely rare and highly desirable.
