Lot 1318
Apollo Program, c1960s, "Shroud Line Cutter". This hooked knife (6x.5") has a striated red plastic handle, blue braided cord for attachment and a sharp hooked blade. There is some cracking on the handle. The knife was used by the astronauts in training and was carried in a spacesuit pocket. Although his COA states that this is an Apollo piece, the consignor admits that it may have been used for Gemini instead. Regardless, the knife is unusual and attractive. We haven't encountered this version of knife before.
