Mercury Program, c1960s, Vintage Photo signed by President Lyndon Johnson (14x12.5") This vintage black and white photo, showing Grissom, Slayton and Cooper standing with President Johnson, is inscribed by the President: "To Donald Slayton with high regards, Lyndon Johnson". Unfortunately, there is some smearing of his autograph (that darned Houston humidity again, but it is still an attractive piece of memorabilia. Apparently all three of the astronauts received similar autographed photos of the occasion as we have found a reference to Grissom's having been sold at an 2009 RegencySuperior sale. Attractive.
