1901-S. ANACS graded Details of VG-8 cleaned. A very decent looking coin for the grade. Popular Key Date whose destiny was set in stone once the mint at San Francisco ended production at 72,664 pieces in 1901. Collectors of date-and-mintmarked coinage eventually discovered this date's rarity and it has been one way ever since.
