1862. NGC graded Proof 67 Cameo. An exquisite Gem Cameo Proof specimen! This beauty boasts a hint of delicate pinkish color toning that is uniform on both sides. Certainly one of the finest extant! The 1862 is one of the more available Proof dates in the copper-nickel series and it is also one of the better produced issues. That being said, this fantastic specimen represents one of the finest ever certified. The fields are splendidly mirrored, impressively so for a copper-nickel product some of which are dull Proofs, and the glittering surfaces are nearly perfect. Beautifully toned as stated, each side displays original spot-free perfection. A wonderfully preserved and visually pleasing 1862 Proof Indian Cent. Pop 4; 1 finer by a point.
