1897. PCGS graded Proof 65 Red & Brown. Housed in a First Generation Holder. Only 1,938 Proofs struck which is far fewer than some dates in the prior decade as orders from collectors dwindled. Not considered a scarce issue, but then trying locating even a dozen in this condition. It'll be a challenge. Pop 44; 15 finer, 14 in 66RB, 1 in 68RB (PCGS # 2379) .
