1838 N-1 R1 AU58. Glossy medium chocolate brown with traces of faded mint red showing on the reverse. NO spots or stains. The only notable mark is a pinscratch between the I and C in AMERICA. LDS with numerous clear rim cud breaks on both sides, including a strong one at OF. Die lapping has severely weakened the tops of UNIT. A neat die state of a relatively common die variety.
