1844 N-3 R2 Repunched 18 VF35. Slightly sharper with a few too many light contact marks on the obverse for the sharpness grade, none notable or distracting. The best identifying mark is a tiny planchet lamination near the dentils just below star 11. Glossy light to medium brown. E-MDS, die state b. The reverse displays several fine die cracks but the one through the top of STATE has not formed. There are no rim cuds on the obverse and the repunching on the 18 is sharp. DWH #0937.
