1793 C-2 R 3 Liberty Cap VG10. Sharpness VF25 but covered with microscopic roughness on all but the highpoints, which are smooth. No marks or verdigris. The highpoints are covered with glossy medium brown and chocolate toning while the remainder of the planchet is dark olive brown. The contrast in toning accents the design details and aids the eye appeal. The date is complete and easily readable and the legends are strong. A decent example for the grade in spite of the imperfect surfaces.
