1849 N-27 R4+ AU50. Frosty steel brown with lustrous light steel brown toning in protected areas and tiny splashes of darker steel toning mottled on both sides. The only notable marks are a light diagonal nick under the E in CENT and a speck of carbon on the left top of the second S in STATES. LDS, die state c. The spike at star 9 is weak and the field around UNITED is covered with die rust. Tied for CC#5 for the variety but finest of the late die state. DWH #2134.
