1872 Indian Head Cent. NGC graded MS-65 Red & Brown. Lots of mint red. Although essentially brilliant with glowing red color, the smooth, satiny surfaces show a decided tinge of iridescent light brown cast at certain angles. We are delighted to report a munificent strike, as well as freedom from the usual clash marks and spotting typical for this year's mintage where problems occur all too often. And that is why this is a Gem to jump at before it's sale is history. Pop 71; 8 finer in 66RB.
