1969-C, $5 Federal Reserve Note. Ink Smear on Face. PCGS Currency Extremely Fine 40PPQ. . Fr-1972-F. A large black streak of BEP ink is present on the left end of the face of this dramatic error. Ink smears are not uncommon, however large streaks such as this are much scarcer as they are usually caught by BEP inspectors before entering circulation.
