1853 N-4 R3+ Boldly Repunched 3 VF35. Ten points sharper but a scuff of faint scratches cover the rim on the obverse, possibly added to remove a few tiny rim nicks. Otherwise the surfaces are smooth and attractive with only a couple trivial marks. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. MDS, die state c. The repunching above the 3 is clear. Removed from an NGC slab graded AU58 (NGC label included, and it shows the N-4 attribution).
