Lot 1160

1849 N-22 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Red & Brown. Frosty olive and steel brown with 20% of the slightly faded mint color showing on the obverse, traces on the reverse. No spots or stains. The only mark is a single nick under the end of the wreath stem. Nicely struck M-LDS, die state c. The die lines from the main and inner curls are gone (Newcomb's old #6), but the vertical line inside the top of the E in CENT remains clear. Our grade is MS63. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 1; 3 finer in 65RB.
Estimated Value $300-UP.
