1817 N-6 R1. VF-30 Plus. Five points sharper but lightly cleaned and retoned glossy dark steel and olive brown with some chocolate brown tones on the obverse. No roughness or contact marks, and attractive flowline luster covers the fields and protected areas. The eye appeal is excellent in spite of the retoning. LDS. The dies are worn and less than half the dentils on the reverse remain visible. Removed from an NGC slab graded AU55BN (the NGC label is included, and it shows the attribution and Reiver provenance).
