1903 Barber Half Dollar. NGC graded Proof 67. Nice blue and golden toning. Only 755 Proofs issued. We have only handled a few other Proof 1907 Barber half dollars graded as high as this lovely Superb Gem. The coin is spectacular from both technical or aesthetic viewpoints. A hint of silvery brilliance shines through the deeply toned surface, with toning iridescence at the peripheries, across the devices, and throughout the fields. There is a little bit of light frosting over the reverse eagle, but the balance of the features are brilliant in finish with particularly vibrant mirrored reflectivity in the fields. Type collectors who will settle for only the best would be shrewd to take full advantage of the opportunity that this coin presents (along with the others in the group), especially since both major grading services combined report very few high-end Proof Barber half dollars.
