Unknown. Untitled - 18th Century British, European, or Possibly Russian Officer. Oil on canvas, 36 x 24 in. An elegant, waist-length portrait of an officer wearing a gray and red jacket with a gold vest and ruffled white shirt. His perruque is short and curled above his ears. In his right hand he holds a silver-tipped cane; on his left side can be seen the elaborate gold-braided handle to a sword.
