Byzantine Empire. Tiberius III, 698-705. follis or 40 nummi (1.95g), Syracuse, c. 701-5. No legend, Tiberius stg. facing, wearing long tunic and holding long cross and gl. cr. Rev. Large M between two crosses, monogram of Tiberius above, star beneath, SCL in ex. DOC 33; MIB 80; Sear 1396. Good very fine and rare with nice green patina.
