Gold Pattern Half Sovereign obverse, 1841, young head left, date below, muled with Sixpence reverse, inverted die axis, 1841, crowned mark of value within wreath, edge milled, by William Wyon. Dig in field near forehead, experimental numbers scratched on field - 435 over 409 top of head, K5546 at rear of neck, of the highest rarity, only two known in commerce. NGC graded AU-55.
