Enchanting rich golden toning coupled with shimmering mirrorlike fields make this Uncirculated example quite appealing. The reverse shows the shattering cited in California Pioneer Fractional Gold, indicating that this may be one of the middle to late states known of the dies. An important rarity for the specialist.
