Lot 349

1909-S Lincoln Cent. VDB. PCGS graded MS-64 Red. A nice bold strike. The surfaces are glossy and radiant reddish-copper with a fine splash of gold at the margin. There is neither tarnish nor any indication of mishandling whatsoever, which is a departure from what one usually finds. What gladdens us most is to see a crisp rather than a dullish, smooth impression was left by the pressure of the dies that struck this sharp specimen (PCGS # 2428) .
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,250.
