Lot 1394

1908 $2.50 Indian. NGC graded MS-64. A hint of light golden toning adds to its appeal. Because of soft luster, 1908 Indian quarter eagles rarely qualify for MS64 condition, and of course, having a nice smooth warm golden finish only compounds this coin's beauty. In MS64 Prooflike condition, this is favorably placed to be put in a virtual gem set of Indian quarter eagles. It has excellent detail on all the design areas with smooth, virtually unblemished fields. Just outstanding detail in the headdress feathers. And complete plumage is seen on the eagle on the reverse (PCGS # 7939) .
Estimated Value $1,300 - 1,400.

Realized $1,610
