RUSSIA. Pattern Ruble, 1804. Sev-2552; KM-Pn65. Bronze. 41 mm. Plain edge. By C.H. Kuchler. Struck at the Soho mint, Birmingham. Alexander I. Uniformed bust right. Reverse: Cross and date. With original shell case. Unusually elegant: light bluish hues on almost black surfaces that appear to be flawless, broad and square rims, bold strike. One of the cataloguer's favorites in the entire awesome collection. NGC graded Proof 64.
