ASTP, 1975, FLOWN Gold Robbins Medallion with Diamond. This striking custom medallion has the launch date (July 15, 1975) and the "entry" date (July 24, 1975) engraved on the reverse and a diamond inserted (probably post landing) in place of the sun on the face. There is an "F" and a 10k gold marking on the rim. Mounted in a gold bezel and in pristine condition, this medallion has been in the consignor's safe deposit box for almost 30 years. To our knowledge, this is the first medallion of this type offered in public auction.
