1795 Flowing Hair Dollar. NGC graded VF-30. 2 leaves. The flowing hair style was in production only in 1794 (a very expensive rarity) and 1795 (the usual date chosen by collectors). This is one of the more evenly balanced die varieties where the Liberty head is centrally placed within the ring of stars and LIBERTY, with widely spaced date digits below. There is some darker verdigris at the left side. The reverse has the most detail on the left wing, while typical for 1795 flowing hairs, the right wing shows only a few wing feathers mainly in towards the body. Choice rims and fields on both sides.
