1798 S-175 R3. VF-30. Style II Hair with Small 8. Ten points sharper with a half dozen old, mostly light pinscratches in the field before the mouth and neck. These scratches all blend nicely into the attractive natural toning, and the remainder of this cent offers excellent eye appeal for an EF40 grade. Glossy light chocolate brown with frosty lighter brown toning in protected areas of the obverse. Satiny mint luster shows in the protected areas. LDS, Breen state VI. Called EF40 net VF25 and tied for CC#10 in the Noyes census, his photo #32094.
