1912 $5 Indian. PCGS graded MS-64. Warm golden-orange toning on both sides. The otherwise satiny golden luster deepens to heavy frostiness in a few areas such as around the stars, but retains an almost velvety texture on the facial conturs of the Indian. All this is perhaps par for the course given the choice grade, with an especially bold strike complementing the luster as well. Pop 399; 44 finer by a point (PCGS # 8523) .
