Lot 1413

1914-D $2.50 Indian. PCGS graded MS-64. Lightly toned. Likely an early strike from new dies, just estimating from the needle-sharp details. The surfaces are vivid gold in hue and drenched in luster. Given the proper amount of strike pressure, the coin is fully brought up by the dies including the mintmark. We see no reason to add in a "however" here, since there are no soft areas as are so often found on this date, none at all! Pop 528; 38 finer in 65 (PCGS # 7947) .
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,200.
