1927 $20 St. Gaudens. NGC graded MS-64. Frosty with a blend of bright gold to lovely rose gold color, a well struck example of this plentiful date. The economy was booming in 1927, worldwide trade at its greatest extent after the recovery from the First World War, and so production of gold coins used in the export trade also boomed reaching a lofty level this year (PCGS # 9186) .
