1838 $5 Classic Head. . Breen-6514, large arrows, small 5, TES closely spaced. NGC graded AU-58. CAC Approved. A nice type coin. Aesthetically tempting, as fine a looking coin in its grade as ever found, with full strike, and all the while saturated with close to 95% bright golden bloom. There is little in the way of toning. Struck with exactitude rarely found on a Classic Head $5 gold piece of 1834-38. Pop 107; 87 finer (PCGS # 8176) .
