1903 $10 Liberty. NGC graded Proof 65. NGC serial #2018839-001. A blazing gem proof. Only 96 minted. Bright and lustrous, rollicking gold with deep mirrors and all-brilliant motifs. Combining here is a strong array of original flashy sparkle. (With the introduction of the 1902 Proof sets, the recessed areas of the dies were left polished by mint employees, not frosted) We concur with the healthy Proof 65 grade; moreover, we observe as have others that survivors from the Proof mintage for this date are hard-pressed to equal the fresh allure of the present coin.
