1875 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 65 PQ. Lovely intense blue toning on both sides. A razor sharp Gem Proof that has rich frosted devices so deep even the colorful overlay barely inhibits them. Luminous and carefully preserved. Collectors understand that blemish-free mirror luster isn't the only side of a grade, important though that is. So too, the detail, and here the devices are as sharp as can be. Only 700 Proofs struck. Pop 7; 3 in 66. (PCGS # 5576) .
