German States - Hesse-Cassel. Ducat, 1746. Fr-1299; Schütz-1669; KM-409; Hoffm.2106v. Friedrich I (King of Sweden), 1730-1751. Head right. Reverse Crowned Swedish arms. Very Rare. NGC graded MS-64.

Frederick became king of Sweden in 1720, ten years before his becoming landgrave of Hesse. He was little interested in much except women and hunting.
