Moneyer, Aelfwold. Diademed and draped bust left, scepter before; +EDPER ·D REEX: around. Reverse: Central circle, short voided cross with expanding arms within, joined at center by quadrilateral within circle, pellet within; +ELFPOL·D ON PILTVNE around. Sharp strike with full legends, on an excellent, broad flan of good metal. Pleasing medium lilac-gray to silvery brown tone. NGC graded AU-58. Estimated Value $1,200 - 1,400. Ex Dr Jacob Y.
