Peru. Republic. 8 Reales, 1835-B (Cuzco). WR-17; Eliz-139; KM-142.5. 26.87 grams. Large Liberty type. Tripartite shield of arms flanked by wreath, and crowned above by smaller wreath. Reverse: Pallas Athene, as Liberty, stands frontal supporting plain cap on spear, while one hand rests on shield. Good, fairly bold strike. Lustrous, with even medium to deep toning, and with hints of coloring in the recesses. One-year type coin. NGC graded AU-53.
