Ponselle, Rosa (1897-1981) American dramatic soprano. 24" x 18" poster, signed by artist Frederick (Flumcon?). Ponselle had her debut in 1918 at New York's Metropolitan Opera and enjoyed a successful career with the theater until her retirement in 1937. Of note, this piece once hung in the old Warner Bros. theater in downtown Youngstown, Ohio. Minor edge wear, else fine.
