Lot 3125

1894 Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 64 PQ. Old green holder. Wonderful rainbow toning on both sides. Should be cracked out and regraded. There is so much to say about the beautiful surfaces of this coin since they are nearly gem quality, a level that is almost unobtainable. The mint frost of the devices is glowing with intensity over each side. Surrounding, the gleam of fresh mirrors. There is a lot more than a wee bit of patina as well, the colors resonate with a gleam all their own. And what's more, confirming the smooth luster, we report excellent sharpness on all devices. Concentrate on these features, and then submit your bids. 972 Proofs struck. Pop 75; 38 finer; 25 in 65; 9 in 66; 3 in 67; 1 in 68. (PCGS # 7329) .
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,300.

Realized $8,050
